You live abroad.

Your partner travels for work.

Your challenges are real.

Don't face them alone.

Hi, I'm Rhoda

You move abroad with your partner, next thing you know, they are on a plane to somewhere for work. And they just keep on travelling...

You face a unique set of challenges.

I get it. I've lived it for over 16 years, I'm researching it through interviews with families and therapists.

I'm speaking about it. It's high time life with travelling partners is spoken about in its own right rather than as an afterthought.

Organisations who send staff on non-family postings are wising up to the solo parenting of the non-travelling partner and want to support. If you are an organisation, you can invite me to speak on this topic here

A multicultural life?

Many people who have a partner who travels a lot for work also:

  • live in a country that is not their home country

  • are are in a romantic relationship with someone who is from another culture

  • speak multiple languages and learning one more. Maybe they share a second (or third ) language with their partner.

This multicultural life will add layers to the experience of being apart due to work travel.

If this is you, i want to bring you resources that will help you in your cross-cultural life while living abroad with a travelling partner.
